Coming into the 2025 NFL season, most of us were expecting the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas Chiefs to be amongst the top teams in the league. Even though we are only in week 7, Philadelphia is looking like the only team out of those six that are currently one of the top five or six teams in the league. The Ravens having only one win is giving the Lamar Jackson haters joy and happiness. San Francisco having a 4-2 record is amazing with all of their injuries. Brock Purdy, George Kittle, Ricky Pearsall, Brandon Aiyuk, Nick Bosa, and many others. Then they lost their star linebacker Fred Warner last week against the Tampa Buccaneers. It is a blessing for the Niners to be sitting at the top of the NFC West at this point. The great thing about NFL football is the unpredictability.
Daniel Jones went from New York Giants scrub quarterback to practice squad player on the Minnesota Vikings to playing like Johnny Unitas for the Indianapolis Colts in 2025. Baker Mayfield has the Tampa Buccaneers on top of the league going into week 7. Russell Wilson look washed. The Kansas Chiefs are looking average. This season has been interesting so far.
